Just in case your ever tempted to try rad sealer to stop water loss in a Zed then take a look at the pic attached, after distmantling this engine for a timing belt change you can see how it has settled in the inlet pipe. The consistancy was like very rough rock hard sand and took some removing.

Both inlets were the same the thermostat was jammed slightly open and the rubber top and bottom hose to the rad were full of it albeit not set so hard and when the water pump was removed the galley that feeds it was about half size!

These products are maybe exceptable on other cars but definately not on a zed.

Urghh, ill not be putting that in anything then!!, actually it looks like the same recipe as the mother in laws soup lol

Yes it is yuk! the rad sealer I mean!

In fact next pic is a result of running plain water with no anti freeze, see the corrossion of the inlet pipe stubs under the rubber, see this very frequently.

Radweld is a NO NO!

Can't remember who asked me if they should put some in their Z a few weeks ago:rolleyes:

Just phoned jeff and a full flush and new antifreeze for me before I collect the car!

For £15 its nothing to keep your engine clean!!!!!!!
