My rear passenger tyre keeps going down. I have taken it to my local tyre place and they testing it and there is no puncture and the valves are fine.

Could it be possible that the alloy is actually leaking? I know it can happen but is this what it is like?

Today my rear was down to 12psi :( and it was at the correct pressure about a week ago, yet there is no visable nail or hole and the valve is fine and there is no puncture.

Any ideas what it could be?

Once had just that problem - got it resolved by having the tyre removed and refitted !

They said that such large tyres sometimes don't sit properly on the rim ! Seemed a load of tosh to me but it did stop the leak !

Stuart,

Is it a split rim?

If not then the tyre is not set right on the rim. Can only suggest u take it back to where they fitted em and get em to remove and refit the tyre with plenty of paste!!

No they are stock wheels.

I had this problem, and they did that, they took off the tyre, cleaned the inside of the wheel and but it back on.

Lucky I have an onboard tyre pressure reader so I can read what its at.

Hey...

Yupper, had the same problem with one of the stock rears on mine. Ended up buying a complete set of four UK alloys.

I still have the other three in the garage (well, 3 plus the duff one) so if you can`t get it sorted and don`t mind a stock Jap wheel, I`m sure we can sort something out....

Best of luck though...

had this problem on my peugeot a while ago.. apparantly was hairline fractures in the alloy wheel... had the whole set replaced with 17" fox racing ones.. look alright on the pug.. would probably not even fit the Z...

oh by the way... the dials... are they the cybercraft coloured ones?!?

and what's happened to the cybercraft website?

No they are called PRO LED ones.

I think Cybercraft is closing I think, but hes still doing things if you email him.

cool.. like those, do you have a supplier for PRO LED's then?

are they pricey?
