I know it's ages away, but if I ask now I can start planning ahead (yeah right rolleyes.gif ) Will we need crash helmets for Trax2001? If so, do they have to be type approved? If anyone on here has done track days before what else would they advise i.e. spare brake pads, brake fluid, ATF fluid, oil, HICAS ball joints biggrin.gif etc...

Thanks lads

1) you do need crash helmets

2) you cant take passengers (unless you have a racing licence)

3) the tracktime is only 15-20 minutes, so i doubt you'll need any spare parts (hope not)

Already tried to wear the lid in the car, forseeing TRAX. Im only 6' and I was hitting the glass, I know this will depend on your height and seat possitioning.

So perhaps the taller members should deffinatly try it out first as my seat is now at the minimum.

This site has some excellent helmets that would suit you guyZ down to the ground. If I were making a guest appearance around the oval I would be sporting the Big German Leather me thinks! Due to being in the frankfurter on wheels! Check it out, I can just picture Johnny in a Road King and Warren in a Kaiser with the spike on top...LMAO!

Check it...
