Any Ideas?

I've found a disconnected wire at the back of the engine bay, in the middle. I've got no idea what its for and why it might be disconnected, and the Zeds running sweet and everything seems to work?? I've taken a pic of it but cant work out how to attach to this message (I think I might have to be a paid up member to do so!) so does any of you bloody helpful nice people (creep creep) mind if I email the picture to you??

If not, any wild stabs in the dark appreciated. :D

Thanks Mark

Hmmmmmm, sorry, not sure. Not the one I thought it was going to be. I do know mine is connected on mine.

Maybe someone else will know........

Thanks James, I've been toying with the idea of just connecting it back and seeing wot happens. But not sure if this a good idea, seeing as someone went to the trouble of putting a bit of tape over it!!

Pic wouldn't upload! can you get it into jpg? if you can, re-send to me and I'll attach it here.

Connectors in the middle at the back are:-

Pass side O2 sensor

Det Sensor

Variable valve timing solenoid (x2)

The above are all very similar to the coilpack connectors.

If the connector is square and black it is the stock boost solenoid connector. This must be disconnected if you fit a boost controller - there is one for each side.

That help at all?

CheerZ,

Andy

From the pic it is neither of the 2 that slide onto their own little mount....it is to the left of that (looking from front) but as you say is similar to coilpack connectors.

Just had an email off Jeff @zedworld who has informed me its the det sensor!!

Thanks for all replys... Mark
