A funny occurence and a question...

 

Was trotting into the office today, behind an Escort, no geat rush. Didn`t see behind but a Mitsi Evo VII trying to make a point blasted past, engine screaming away, when a plume of blue smoke appeared from his tail..posible turbo seal perhaps...prat.

 

Anyways, my zed with mods has around 430BHP. How do you folk think it would cope with an Evo or M3/M5 on a 0-60 basis. I am a bit of a grandad and very rarely use the turbos but do get a bit annoyed with the M3 factor, ie getting as close as possible to your rear bumper before overtaking. Stock 0-60 is about 5.6 secs with 280BHP, so how fast do you reckon a Zed can go with 150BHP more?

On top gear a while ago Tiff raced an Aston Martin against a tornado, aston was whooping it until the tornado was about 5 metres off the grouond at it roared past big time.

 

So a tornado is the opposite of the Evo, crap on country lanes but wicked at plane speeds!

I have seen a Jap XJ220 v a Jaguar Jet.

Also seen the Numan Hass Indycar (CHAP CART or what ever its called now) v a US figter dont know what one.

 

Both had the same result car went infront for about 10 seconds before this plane pissed past it doing over 200mph. Still interesting though. :D

The Tornado has the advantage of being able to cut the corners at mach 1.8 :D

Sorry guys I really do think you are MISSING THE POINT HERE!!!!!

 

 

Think of how fast a 13 year old computer is compared to today...think of communications 13 years ago compared to today.

 

Think of the Zed and think of its modern day counterparts and think exactly how awesome this car is....I mean really.. REALLY!!

 

This car is incredible, unbelivable....what more can I say? I ask the question and my old thunder gives me the answer......actually Steve, yes, I am every bit as good and better than those modern day so called super cars.....WTF!!!!!!!!!!

 

I know I`m a bit OTT here but the Zed really does conquer all. I bought it as a better looking version of my old S13 but found a car that is utterly astonishing. THIS IS MY POINT!!!!

 

Sory guys and gals...I guess I`m still getting over the rush but I only paid £5K for this car and can put to shame cars costing 6-7 times as much......Nissan knew what they were doing...that`s all......the Skyline may be faster but OMG!! these looks!!! OK folks, worship over, you get the point.........take care and be safe......
