anyone tried these tyres it should say :o

Went through 2 sets of Falken rears in the 1st year of ownership.

In the wet you'll lite up the tyres whenever you want, to even in 3rd on a good road.

In the dry they 'aint bad, but soft & sticky means you push it more & fry 'em anyway:D

Ok sort of middling tyre if your not into miles & just the odd (private)!!! track day ;) not bad.

I fitted these on my 18s. 265 35 18's rear 235 40 18's front.

Rears were the FK04 I think block pattern, fronts the 451 V type pattern. I have had about 10k miles from the rears and I'm nearly onto the wear indicator ribs. They wore square. The fronts have probably done about 7k miles and have plenty left.

Found them OK. Sure you'll lite up the rears in the wet. But a TT'll do this with any tyres if the engine is on song.

I paid £260 rears and £220 fronts.

Had Falkens and Continentals on the rear before and handling is more than fine AFIK. Slight balance problem at the front but thats maybe the BBS RS2ss. Not sure.

What affected handling much more was when they get to slick grade and duff rear shocks or mis aligned rear tracking.

If you find better at similar money let us know as my rears will be changed soon.

I put FK451's ( Falken ) on in November and wearing well so far, but only done about 3k on them.

Great in dry, and I dont push it the wet, but mines only an NA.

Paid £292 for set, incl. dredded VAT and balance etc. on standard 16" rims.

Cool V pattern similar to SO3's.

RATED tread wear 280, Traction -AA, Temp rate A. All of which, I understand to be good.

Ive got falkens on, great in dry, seem good in wet

Have shot round a roundabout at 45mph in wet with little concern to back slipping out. They are a bit slippy when it first starts to rain but most tyres are I guess. Not very good on ice though. They also shoot huge plumes of water into the air at 70mph which i love.

Seem to be wearing okay, done about 10k and don't expect to replace for another 10k. I've never wheel spun them though, I leave that for the rude bwois. ;)

I think for a medium cost tyre they are very good vaule for the performance you get.

I has Bridgestone S02 on the rears which I could only fault how long they lasted. Everything else was fantastic.

The Falken are not as good as the Bridgestone but they cost nearly half as much as them.

In the dry I would say they are very good.

In the wet they are not as good, could be better but not dangerous. You wont lose it if you drive normally.

I fitted them to a T5 Volvo, I thought they were fine. and has been said, what tyre cant you light up in the wet? Or even slightly damp?

Am running on 19" Falken tyres and they seem to be wearing ok, grip is fine in dry and the usual sliding about in wet.seem a good tyre and value for money.

well ive had them nearly a week now and they seem pretty good, they turned out to be the 451's with a rather nice v tread pattern, good in the dry and seem good in the wet under moderate acceleratio, 500 quid well spent i think

My Falken 451 are just getting down to needing to be replaced and all of a sudden they cant grip shit. Any one get this on theirs when they where nearly spent?
