After a return to the paint shop last week - and as the weather was kind yesterday - I set about removing any remaining dust, over-spray or residue.....

I gave it a good wash to remove any surface grime, then went over the paint-work and glass with a clay bar (separate one for the glass, of course). After a second wash and towel dry, I was pleased to see the paint-work didn't need much in the way of further correction. So I just gave it a light polish with Autoglym SRP using the dual action polisher, then buffed it to a shine by hand.

I then finished with a coat of my favourite sealant - Chemical Guys Jet Seal. The paint should be nicely protected from the elements, but I'll still try to give it another coat of Jet Seal tomorrow, if it stays dry....... 🙂

........Oh, and before anyone spots it, yes, I did realise the LH "dummy" rear fog lamp was not replaced straight.... 😉

It had been installed with the back section upside down - although on removal, I found it had been damaged in the accident, so carefully taped it together and replaced it the right way up. I have since ordered a replacement from Ebay though. I had to buy them as a pair, so I may try to install another working fog light on the LH side, to balance it up.
