Can anyone explain how to take SNAP RING off end of bmc ?

And can it be reused afterwards ?

The snap ring (stopper cap in picture) comes as part of the refurb kit. The tabs can be prised back to release.

Many thanks Andrew, did not want to prise it off before i knew something about it.

I bought seal kit but no end stopper, hopefully it doesn't get damaged. 

But now i know i can get full refurb kit at a high price it seems!

Cant believe the price on z centre Just looked and it is £145 plus £29  vat plus postageusually ££20 from zcentre total near £200  

Fingers and toes crossed no damage.

When you take the pistons out check the BMC bore for scratches. If they are present it is likely the refurb kit won't work.

Good point, hopefully okay.

Just renewed brake pipes to bmc.

Next week will reseal bmc and put back in car.

Sad but i actually like repairing faults.
