Disconnecting HICAS

was looking at the online maual for hicas, i noticed that u can adjust the steering lock .....

 

it is surposed to be 2.9 - 3.1mm ..... surely if u modified this to 0 it would accomplish the same job as the stillen bypass kit ?

 

any ideas .....

 

it seems that if u drive hard mosy people arent impressed with the 'nervy' hicas system ?
