We have been invited to display at the Jap 'n' Car Festival in France on the weekend of the 1st & 2nd June 2024.

We were approached by the shows organisers during the NEC Classic Car show. The organisers were impressed with our stand and the quality of the cars.

The show is a two day event hosted at a racetrack just south of Paris. The race track is of a similar heritage to the Brooklands track here in the UK, but this one has survived and can be driven/raced on.

I have been liasing with the organisers and the Zed Car Register to have a joint stand as we MUST have a minimun for 10 cars to qualify.

The plan would be to have a club long weekend. Drive down to the accommodation on the Friday, attend the show and drive back on the Monday.

It seems that there are track session and a club parade lap. I will try to find out more information about these.

Bumping this thread as we need more people for the stand to be accepted. The plan is to share with the Z car Register, so only need 5 cars. I am planning to go with Aff, so three more people needed!

I have tried to hold off doing this, but I think we need to cancel this.

I haven't had the best response rate from the organisers and at the moment, I have no idea if we have a stand. The last response I got back from them was late Feb saying the show was happening. John over at Zed Register has been CC'd into communications and hasnt heard from them either.

I am happy for people to make the trip by themselves, but I daren't endorse it as a club meeting.

If you do want a weekend away in France, let me know because I am always up for a road trip!
