I've just bought some new wheels and I'm unsure what tyres I'll need, id like to go as wide as possible. I've looked through lots of old posts but this has just made me more confused.

The new wheels are-

8 x18 et 32 front

9 x 18 et 38 rear

I have tein coilovers, so i can adjust ride height and damping.

Here's a table I found in my own research on the topic. I believe it to be accurate

Hi Simon,

My wheels are pretty much the same size as yours, albeit my rears are (IIRC) 9.5, and I'm running 235/40/18 front and 265/35/18 rear. I'll probably go 275 at the rear next time though 😉

They fit fine, no scrubbing, with my Zed having been lowered 25mm on Meister-R coilovers. Any excuse for a Zed pic LOL

I'll definitely post them, probably in a couple of weeks. The cars been off the road 14 years, a couple of weeks away from mot time, can't wait.
