Hi all,

been a while since I last posted, been busy with bits on pieces on the Z as always. My Z was sat on a drive for 15 years before I got it so paint has always been a niggle for me, laquer peel and poor paint throughout. Bit by bit slowly accumulated some nice bits of bodykit and finally got round to spraying the whole lot to throw on. Now I can’t work out if I’m a fan of the bonnet really so I do think I’m going back to OEM for that. Otherwise it’s starting to look something like what I’m going to be happy with… many many more hours later😁

Also taken this opportunity to revamp the front end some more with fully stripped back bottom arms, new OEM bottom ball joints and polybushes, a new front mount with pipework, new clamps and joiners throughout. A lot of work behind the scenes really but all the better for it. Just wants a good cut back and 3 stage polish to bring out the shine.

Great to see another UK spec being saved. If you are able (and prepared too) get the VIN to me then I will add the car to my UK specs register.

It is basically a register of how many of the 1548 UK specs recorded by Nissan are still on the road (MOT and taxed), SORNed or scrapped.

Hi Peage,

It’s a 4 pot Brembo kit from a Megane RS Cup, they were brand new direct from Renault, along with a billet adaptor they bolted straight on with 340mm OEM Renault disks. More modern brakes and can handle brake fade miles better than OEM Z brakes, along with a fluid flush and Dot 4. Thanks for that😁

Very nice! Didn't know there was a bracket for Megane brakes.

I have some Cadillac CTSV Brembos to go on mine, required hub modification along with the bracket though.

It was actually to go on and fit to a mates S15, but they all share same brake fastener locations along with Skylines and S bodies and our Z’s, so was quite literally a bolt on situation
