Anybody spare some time? :) <GROVEL>

Hi all,

a while ago I posted up a question about my rather failed and dead zed.. got reassured by everybody that I need to remove some bits and clean them, then pop them back in again.. basically sounds like an electronics problem.. doesn't appear to be firing on all cylinders.. heavy shaking from the engine etc.

I've finally come back from being flung to the four corners of the earth for work.. (car's batt is dead but soon fix that!).. I know flip all about the goings on under my bonnet, and I've had a look at the Service manual and I don't see which bits of the ignition coils are going to be corroded... could anybody give me a hand one morning or afternoon.. whenever really, who knows what they're looking at to get these bits out and get my zed back on the road.. I'm missing it...

I'm in Northampton.. so if anybody is nearby?!?!

077400 92550

Thanks

Lee

"T"........

it wouldnt be till next weekend though buzy fitting bits to mine this week.

or if it drives chug on over tomorrow.

it is more than likely the rear black/grey connectors under the balance bar has worked loose. give them all a push.

I have kids over this weekend, otherwise i could pop over ,only in Daventry, dont know that much ,but seen Jeff doing simular,if you still stuck mid week give us a mail,i am on mornings this week, finish at 3pm,maybe two heads better than one as they say,(there again!),Tony:D

Well... full tank of fuel on offer.. never mind the £20 :)

I'll try fiddling with the connectors.. if it's just that I'll bloody scream!!! :)

Next weekend is fine for me, or any time during the week... Don't think it's deemed driveable.. max 3,000 revs!!! when It died my wallet screamed, until everybody here re-assured me it's not that horrid and probably just bits need fiddling with or cleaning.

So if either of you, or both can make it over sometime, I'll compensate you!! thanks again
