Hi all,

My car has discovered a starting issue on cold and warm but only struggles on warm after I leave it for over half an hour.... very strange one

The car starts every time it's never not started just takes a bit to get going but it's like a spluttering start for about 5 seconds idle drops right down when it gets going but then it's fine , idles fine everything once it's found its bearings....

Some mornings it's starts first go after its left over 2 days but let's say I leave it overnight and try it in the morning it does it. So strange.

I've changed the PTU to series 2, no joy and also changed the FP regulator still no joy, checked fuel pressure that's healthy,

I've tried putting a video on but won't let me,

Any help appreciated, cheers.

Hi have you checked the injector connectors, mine had a similar problem, they were cracked and corroded I ended up replacing them.

Seconded - I had the same problem.... Jimmer cleaned the connectors a couple of times, and all was good for a year, then the issue would return. New connectors cured it ?

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
