The outer strip that brushes against the window as it goes up and down. Is there any way to restore these or paint them? The silver is starting to show and I would like to tidy them up.

I stripped them down with a stanley blade, under coated then sprayed with black plasti-kote.

Yeah like Black Zed says, they’re not that expensive, even the genuine ones. Compared to the targa rubbers and other trims, they’re the most reasonably priced tbh. For longevity I’d replace them for new whilst they’re still available.

Although you can’t buy the ones that go with the rear windows, unless you buy the whole window I believe. I bought some Kuruma Z copies for the rear windows but they weren’t the best match so the bodyshop just restored my old ones with some trim oil (think duck oil? he said).

Sorry must have miss read it!

I thought it was the windscreen ones as you mentioned the silver starting to show.

You mean the door rubber, as said CPZ.

Thanks guys, didn’t realise they could still be bought, saw cpz do the 2 doors and quarter window set for $450. Hopefully some one will start making targa rubbers, as they are discontinued now too!
