Did your insurance companies use it as an excuse to hike your insurance up, or were they ok about it ?

I like love driving my car without traction control but id also like to try and drive a zed with it just to see what the difference is,

I was talking to Torqueic yesterday....he said 'watch this space'.....will be announcing a deal on RaceLogic TC around £550.

I've heard enough on here to convince me that it will be money well spent - and at a bargain price.

Yup if you can get them in at that price, its a pretty good deal, i think they have been done for around 500 before on a group buy..

well worth having, especially Launch control :D:D:D it sounds cool lol.

 

it does make you drive alot faster until it lets you down :o and ou end up doing two 360's in about a second.... lol.

The Supra group buy at £620 does, but if you reckon they'll do better than that for us then I'm more than happy to wait the extra month or so for our own group buy ?

How much for them to fit it!Racelogic charge £400 plus vat,thats Traction control with Adjustable Slip,they say it takes a complete day to set up!If you have a Racelogic sticker on your zed they will do TC with slip controler for £495 plus vat,then add on fitting cost!

Whole day to set up lol. Took me about 3hrs to fit then about 20 mins to set up.

Torgueic quoted me £150 for fitting when I enquired about the Supra group buy. Hopefully they've not jacked up the fitting price to compensate for the discount on parts they're giving us ! ;)

I've just posted a mail in general chat 'cause I mentioned traction control to Luke Borg whilst talking to him about my auto-manual conversion and he can undercut Torqueic on both parts and labour.

 

Racelogic with Launch - £530

Fitting - £100

 

I can certainly recommend Luke too as I've had numerous bits off him in the past and had various bits of work done !

My current contract ends this week and I've got to make sure I've got something else lined up before I can commit more money on the motor.

Can I just say. It's really not that hard to fit Traction Control.

I have experienced a few problems fitting a racelogic one recently but it turns out that the box itself was faulty and has since been sent back to Racelogic for repair.

 

There are step by step instructions on how to fit it, on my website and Twinturbo.net.

 

It will also only take you max of about 5 hours to fit and not very long to configure (that's if you fitted it correctly).

 

There are a few guys on here who can fit it, some charge a small amount others do it for free.

 

If anyone needs help fitting it and are willing to bring the car to me, I'll help (as long as you are willing to learn). The more people we have that know how to fit and configure it, the less money we have to spend :D.
