Hi there,

my insurance is up for renewal

The value of my Z for the past 4 years has been 6k

I know our prices have risen but at what value should I be thinking of?

I know it difficult not seeing the car so here is a bit about it,

Imported by me in March 2014 a 91 TT manual pearl white.

Past 2 years it has had a manual conversion with new clutch & lightened flywheel + what has been listed below

(Exedy  PRO-Kit complete clutch kit & bearing)

Full 120k cambelt kit change + 6 new coil packs & plugs

All new fuel lines done

New grooved discs & pads all round (March 2019)

Oil change every year regardless of mileage ( 3k in last 2 years)

Body work solid/ interior good slight wear on drivers seat bolster

Stainless steel exhaust

All MOT's & history of all work carried out & parts purchased

All purchase invoices & import documents ( I am the only owner in UK)

That should bring the value to 6.5K ?

Hi Art I think you have undervalued your Z at 6.5k I would say from seeing your Z a few yearts ago 10k . You can if you want send me the details in the link below and I can give you a club valuation.

I will have to remember this service for when I get mine back on the road. Does the club have any recommended brokers too?

That is criminally undervalued!!! Yours is worth so much more than that.

I know, when I bought it last year I just used my old zeds insurance and updated the details. I did raise it from £3000 valuation to £8000. Its going to have to be more now though

Is that to give to the insurance company for them to agree to the value? Will have to get mine done.
