My Zed passed the MOT yesterday with the following advisories

1. near side & offside rear track rod ends have slight play (I can get)

2. rear fuel pipes at rear corroded! All pipes.

3. rear power steering pipe/hose slightly corroded. All pipes

Are there any diagrams or write ups of 2 & 3 that members know of?

Do they have to be custom made as I doubt they are off the shelf pipes!

Any help appreciated

Arthur

Brake and fuel pipes can be bent to shape from normal copper or steel pipe. Get the same diameter and a bending tool. My mechanic has done it a few times for my previous cars. Copper can be bent by hand (although not accurately and may pinch the tube), steel is a bit harder and needs a tool. Pipe is cheap on ebay. The pain in the arse is getting up and around the top of the fuel tank. Removing said tank does make it easier as we found out!
