Hi, working my way through the various issues on my 1990 tt. The weirdest one is the fact that my low fuel warning light, which was working perfectly, has now stopped. Instead it lights up when I open either door or the boot. Would appreciate any pointers! I've been repairing both instrument cluster yokes, wipers/lights as they were both badly cracked, the wiper one was causing the indicator malfunction when the hazard wasn't fully off syndrome but I doubt that has anything to do with the fuel light? But I wouldn't be surprised ?

Check for chafed wires/damage in the bundles that plug into the clocks.ย

That sounds like a good idea thanks. I need to have a look there because my speedo (in kms) has been adjusted as if kms = miles, i.e 40km/h is actually 40 mph. Makes sense since the car came from England but I'm in kms so need to revert back to original Japan spec.ย
