I wasn't doing any more than 44mph according to my speedo on the 200SX & the camera flashed several times.

BUT, I was driving towards the camera, ie., the camera was on the other side of the road facing me.

There was nothing else on the road at the time as it was 1:20am!

I thought they couldn't do you from the front. (oops, that sounds rude:rolleyes: ) So what the Fook is going on?!!:(

If they try to do me then I'm going to say that it was a friend who was over from the States who borrowed my car, F***k them!!

Timmy,

I was going towards Bangor through the Conwy/Penmaenmawr tunnel, they'd redirected traffic from the other side of the road through the tunnel, so it was down to a single lane & 40mph.

The camera was on the Bangor side just outside of the tunnel on the right hand side facing towards me.

From what everyone has said, I don't think I need to worry anyway.

Other side of the road? No worries mate, probably someone being flashed on the other side of the road. Experienced the same when it was dark a while back at the St. Asaph turnoff. Nearly blinded me FFS! :D

I have it on good legal authority if you don't receive anything within 6 months then THEY can't take any action against you....

so get the calender out :)

LMFAO :D

Don't be fooled by that old chesnut mate!

When I was done on the M25 an eon ago the summons came through about a week before the six months was up.

Me Bro got done for 127mph in his flying machine Saab ages ago and same happened with him. About a week before the six months was up low and behold the summons appeared.

Nobody gets off with that one bud! :(

As stated before, the NiP HAS to be received within 14 days (17 allowing for delays) but court proceedings HAVE to be received within 6 months.

It doesn't matter if it appears 5months 3 1/2 weeks into the 6 months, it's still within the 6 months.

After these times, they can't do anything as stated in Section 1 1© of the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1984.

Timmy mate,

If u dont mind me asking, what did ur bro get for his 127 offence?

Have a sneaky feeling I might have been clockd over 100 the other week. No NIP yet, but then with a 100 offence would I get one?

Nick

I pretend to work, they pretend to pay me!

Yes, of course you would get one... Why would you think you wouldn't?

You now have 14 days of waiting to go through... If you receive the NiP AFTER this time (15 days including the date of offence) then you are in the clear.

The police have to prove that you would have received the NiP within the 14 allocated days.

If you get it before the 14 days are up...then you've been had... :( Ask for photographic evidence, though. It's free and you are entitled to see it.
