My TT Zed has the hicas simply unplugged from the power steering pump in the engine bay... I have a complete N/A for breaking which does not have hicas, so is it relatively simple to switch over the pumps?

Unfortunately I cannot have the 2 cars side by side because the N/A is parked in a storage yard.

Essentially I want to clear up the engine bay as much as possible so getting rid of the hicas pump will be a start.

So who has done the N/A PAS pump conversion to their TT? any advice much appreciated?

In that case your TT is relying on the hydraulics to keep the rear wheels aligned. 
To switch isn’t a big job, as a quick guide;

You will need the bracket from NA pump as well as it’s different, the pump is shorter. 

You could use the TT reservoir but it will have a could of unused/open legs, so you would have to decide on plugging them or the switch. A switch would be tidier and more professional looking. 

You will then need to remove the hydraulic bar in the rear and fit a lock out bar of your choice. Some will require modification of the hubs and others will utilise the Hicas ball joints.

Thanks?, so to be clear I would need to change the TT PAS pump to the NA PAS pump and he TT reservoir to the NA reservoir?

So would the PAS belt need to be chsnged, hopefully that will the same?

Can’t remember tbh. I’ve got under drive pulleys and stock belts no longer fit my car.

If I remember correctly though the NA belt is different.

That's ok, I will have to work it out as I go to a  certain extent but hopefully with having the breaker Zed I should be able to work it out.

The next step is to remove the whole NA subframe and diff and do that conversion as well... but one step at a time!
