Has anyone fitted one themselves? I can’t see how it fits, it’s an inch higher than the original cover it catches lots of pipes and cables. My fuse covers fitted over the originals, so tried that, wouldn’t fit. ?‍♂️

It will have been made for a LHD car with the throttle cable entering from the other side.

With space for just the Cruise Control cable which would allow the cover to site down properly

onto the fixing point.

I believe when these are new they come with a fitting kit, what is in it I just don't know.

I bought a cover second hand and it came with nothing, I used some hollow spacers/cylinders/tubes of different lengths and M6 bolts and washers, sorted it no problem.

Mine is new and came with nothing even though it stated “comes with fasting kit” I think that might be the issue.

Update: there was no fixing kit sent?. AMS has sent it now all sorted?

Firstly that’s what you get with AMS products you need to adjust and modify to fit as build quality is often poor. Secondly that looks like the rear bolt hole in which case you should have a long bolt head protruding from that hole that is threaded and therefore would be the height of the cover.

I didn’t know about the quality of AMS stuff. Your right about the rear bolt hole, now the fixing kit has been sent I can see how to fit it.

I'll leave this here re cable entry to throttle cover on a LHD car...
