Proud new Z owner

Picked up my first Z this Sunday. A 91 auto TT in pearl ruby red.

I am still getting used to the power - if you get the auto box at the right time and kick down at the right speed and revs, its awesome.

Trouble is with my new toy is that I keep doing it. I just filled up with petrol before coming home, had dinner, shower etc... then a voice in my head called me and said "Drive me again" I jumped into the Z and went up and down the A14. I have done just 45 miles and used a quarter tank, OUCH:( :( :( :( Is this normal:confused: Will I have to hide the keys from myself when I get home ??????

Guess I will have to try harder then - I will buy some Dr Martins

tomorrow :D :D

Thats Normal,

Every time somebody asks what engine is in the 300zx and I reply, they say "Oooh, Heavy on fuel then!"

"Yep"

"But also Heavy on Fun"

Otherwise they would probably say ....

"Sad B@st**rd"

Yeah I get the "heavy on fuel" comments too - I just tell myself they are jealous and that's the only thing they can knock :D .

I get about 40-45 miles to the quarter on A-Roads to and from work.

Pete

Welcome to the club mate. I usually get 55miles a quarter on average but have got closer to 70miles on long trips with a sensitive right foot.

Enjoy

Van

LOL...If you have LOTS of fun you can get her down to 7mpg...:o :o :D

Welcome to the club! :D
