Anybody else running with a MINES ECU

well , I just wanted to know how other people were getting on with them, I fitted one at the weekend, no boost jets or controller yet and the car seems to be running so much better than with the previous ECU, also curious as to what boost they will handle safely, definate power increase already

Are you sure that there's a power increase?

 

I found that there was perhaps little power increase but the car had far better response and tractability. I put this down to a better fueling map.

Yep, I have a mines, ecu and at the moment I'm running stock boost, I'm keeping my EVC nice and warm under my desk at the mo!

 

I, like you, noticed a significant improvement in throttle reponse.

very very happy wth it, they dont have the biggest name in ECU tuning for nothing.

 

They usually come set at around 1.3 bar. (although youll need turbos for that sort of boost).

The other unit with bigger injectors comes mapped for 1.5 bar boost.
