hi guys so I'm looking at improving the sound quality of the stereo in the zed, I don't want a big boot build but something a lot more subtle just to give me a bit of punch, so I'm looking at under seat subs, anybody fitted them? if so what are they like, in particular I'm looking at the pioneer units.

I'm also still interested in one but not sure how good they are. My old BMW had OEM ones and it did add a nice bit of bass.

The 3 I looked at were:

  • Pioneer TS-WX130DA
  • Pioneer TS-WX130EA
  • Kenwood KSC-SW11

The Pioneer ones seem the same apart from the DA one comes with a remote, the Kenwood one also had a remote. All 3 have similar specs from what I can tell, not seen any in person so not sure how they perform

I was looking at the ts-wx130ea, as I have dedicated front/rear and sub outputs on my stereo (also pioneer) plus I can set hi-pass and low-pass filters/ cross over frequency etc. I also have a gm-d1004 running the in car speakers. reviews seem pretty good apart from one guy who said he blew it up within a week (pushed it too hard I would guess) the verdict is still out, ideally I would like to find somewhere with one in stock I can listen too.
