Hey all . Just picked up my lifelong dream car . A 2+2 1990 tt red with 100k miles . It's a jap and is in good condition. Has aftermarket japspeed exhaust and intercooler with remap. I need to try and find a timing belt kit for the 120k service . Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction ?

Welcome to the Club! When you say "120K" service, there are quite a few parts normally changed as part of that service.

This US retailer (used by lots of members) gives you an idea.

Ya that's the kit I was looking to get but wasn't sure if I would get caught for duty from the us with it . I also found this kit in the UK . https://www.torqen.uk/nissan/300zx/engine/timing-chains-tensioners/58180-300zx-z32-nissan-oem-120k-complete-timing-belt-kit-13001-01e12.html

The car only has 100kmiles on it and belt was done 5000 miles ago but that was 5 years ago so it badly needs a new one

You will almost certainly "get caught" for the duty these days.  You will be charged duty (4.5%) on the declared value of the goods and then VAT (20%)

on the goods, the shipping and duty combined. Plus a courier handing admin fee for customs clearance.

BTW are you planning on doing the work yourself? If so, this is a compehensive write up for reference:

The Torqen kit is the CZP kit.

Adrian who runs Torqen is related to the CZP owner and sources most of the Z32 bits he sells from him. It's only on the website because I asked Adrian for a price on a 120k kit last year.

Zed #2: 1998 Midnight Purple 2+2 NA. (owned 2020 - now)

Zed #1: 1995 Blue Slicktop NA (2013-2015)

I won't be doing the work myself . My dad and brother are both mechanics so they would be doing it for me thankfully ?
