Hello guys,

Went to put on some de-cat pipes (from Johnny)today but am having a serious problem getting the pre-cat test pipe to mount flat onto the turbo. When the top 2 bolts tighten the bottome of the flange pulls out and vice-versa. Has anyone had any problems in the past????

Cheers

Vijay

Alright Vjay i put a pair on mine about a month ago but the only trouble i had with mine was all the bolts had rusted up they seem to be ok at the mo hope u get it sorted mate

Hi Vijay, how is your Z?

Which pipes has Johnny supplied you?

The small down pipe section from the turbo (3 bolt)should be suitable to mount the cat replacement section. The replacement pipe should be a straight forward bolt on from these down pipes to the centre join in the exhaust.

You need to be careful as the U.S cat replacement (test pipe) is a different fitment to the UK Z's.

Hello Steve,

Nice to see your still around mate!!! The Z's not bad, a few nigly problems to sort out, but I'll get there............................hopefully.

The drivers side is fine, it's the passanger side with the added pre-cat that's causing the problem. It's held on by 4 bolts and doesn't want to fit evenly. I'm gonna order a new gasket tomorrow and see if that helps:confused:
