Whilst on a trip down to Nottingham last night, I had a friend join me on the journey who was yet to experience the power of the Z. Most of the journey to Nottingham consisted of him giggling like a school girl every time the G-Force pinned him to the seat. I warned him to belt up but it wasn't until he felt himself sliding up the back of the seat that he took me seriously.
On the way there, I didn't really give it that much pope, even though to him we were breaking the sound barrier.(I'm sure most of you that have had passengers before can relate).
However, on the way back he was curious as to how quick the car really was and said, "Now we're doing 80mph right?", "How long would it take to get to 100MPH?".......
So I said, " Well, when I put my foot down, start counting"......so, I stuck it in 3rd and floored it. I don't think he got up to 3, but the funniest thing is that he was having problems talking after our ascent.
Let's just say it left me on a high.
