Hi all this was wired into 2 plugs by the fuse box but does anyone know what its for or its purpose? My 300zx is a non turbo if that helps Many thanks dan.

Is it to do with the japanese auto tolls system?

The Japanese text reads "Room Lamp Control". With two wires it is probably something like this:
