Not far to travel on the metro underground, my wife and I visited Shanghai International Automobile City, it was a quiet area with dealerships scattered about.

There is a museum in one of the buildings and this was our reason for our visit and here are some of the cars I chose to picture, first a Mercedes 300SL, thought the colour of this was superb.

Those are my museum pictures, a few stops away on the metro was Shanghai Circuit, so we hopped off to have a look around, it was deserted ?.

This was the view on leaving the station, it soon became apparent that I was at the F1 Shanghai venue.

This next pic faced the entrance, it is actually the SAIC - Shanghai Audi International Circuit.

I think this distance pic is the pit lane, if you can also imagine this would heaving on a race day with cars parked and folks....

Then the main grandstand, you may notice a touring car event being advertised.

We couldn't get any further unfortunately, but at least we can say we were there ☹️.

 

One last picture, this the view from the Bund as it is called, not a bad skyline ?.

The twisty tower on the right is the 2nd tallest in the world, went up but at the top it was cloudy ?.
