Hi Guys,

I have just purchased the Super ATI Race Damper Crank Pulley. Mine is a UK Twin Turbo and I am trying to source new belts for it. The PAS are the same as standard but states it needs a 4pk975 for AC and 4pk1015 for ALT/WP. As mine is a UK it has slightly different belts to the USA ones, longer I believe. Does anyone know the correct size belts for a UK Twin Turbo with a Super ATI Race Crank Pulley ?

I thought 4PK925 is the same across the board for PAS, 4pk965 was UK AC and 4pk1038 was the ALT/WP, so what do I need for mine ?

Thanks,

Olly.

I don't have the specific part #'s required. However the belt part id's give you the belt's specification. So 4PK925 is

a 4 ribbed belt (4) of length 925mm (925). You could work out the lengths required by measuring around the installed

ATI pulley and the other pulleys.

Gates give the following PK part #'s for stock belts:

BTW ATI's own web page indicate that all three belts have changed from stock lengths (see overdrive specs note [7]):

I haven't received the Pulley yet, but while I was waiting I thought I would get the correct belts, but I may have to wait until I get it and fit it and see, I have the standard size Gates belts, PAS 4PK925, A/C 4PK965, ALT/WP 4PK1038 but I believe the PAS stays the same and the other two are different lengths, but we shall see :) The belts listed on ATI's site is for US models and has a 4PK1010 standard ALT belt but with ATI is is increased to a 4PK1015 so by my reckoning I need a 4PK1043 going byt hat logic, but I will fit the pulley and measure and post up so everyone can see what they need if they get one 2 :). Whats the best way to measure and where from to please ?

I've not done this myself (so there may be another way). I would take a nylon cord (say ~6mm) and wrap the

cord around the appropriate pulleys overlapping the ends enough to mark a permanent marker line across the

two sections. Lay the coord flat and measure the distance between the two marks.

You could check this technique as you know the stock lengths already in use (they should be marked on the belts).

Thats quite a nice idea, I'll give that a go when I get the pulley but will also try my standard pulley and belts to get a feel for it and if it matches. Once I work out the correct belts and they all fit and work i'll post the results for others !

I have the ATi damper. I’ll double check but I’m fairly sure my WP/Alt is a 4PK985 and PS is a 4PK 938
