It was a recent consensus that prices for these cars were climbing. However keeping an eye on these things there seems to be stuff about cheaper than what was.

For example on eBay there’s more than one TT for about 3k, for a running car with an MOT.

On Social Media both Mike Feeney from MJP and Simon from Hide and Seat are selling great cars for not a lot, think Simons car is up for £5k!

On here there’s a decent UK spec unsold for £4.5k.

Interesting to note the amount of cars not for sale via the club... different topic. Maybe the quoted values were a tad optimistic?

For some bizarre reason it seems to be top secret...Why it has so much "mystique" baffles me as although it is an outstanding Zed i can think of at least 3 others in this club that warrant the podium with regards to Nissan originality resulting in a higher value.

You echo my thoughts Brian in post #3 [emoji53].

Time the new owner stepped forward

Time the new owner stepped forward

Yup…..

…..Unless, of course, there is no new owner:wink: Maybe it's all a conspiracy; and Simon has kept his Zed - but merely just squirrelled it off to a top secret storage facility, only for it to materialise in time-warp-fantastic condition a few years hence!!!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Prices are hugely stronger than what they dropped to at one time or another. When time came to sell my first 300zx, an automatic TT on a 92 plate I had given £4500 for it, converted it to manual upgraded the rear lights and fitted a nice exhaust and I managed to get just £1570 for it at just less than 2 years. I think I sold it towards the end of 2008. I had bought it in January of 2007.

Very surprised and sad to hear Si has sold his stunning car. End of an era!

Conversely when I bought my TT Slicktop in late 09 I think I paid about £4000 for it and managed to get about £4500 for it at the end of 2012. (Again after massive brake upgrade, wheels painted, full respray, new rear lights and many other things fixed!) Astonished to think I sold it nearly 7 years ago! Where does the time go.
