Tentitively looking at selling my 300zx. No, this is not a wind up. Reasons for selling is that I feel it's now time to change to something different, I've had the car nigh on 15 years and would like a change in life.

 

The car doesn't really need much in the way of an introduction. I've poured a lot of effort, love and money into this car over the years and will add a full spec however many many new and upgraded parts, the wheels alone (genuine 19" BBS LM) are worth around £3.5k

 

I'm not looking for silly money for it or to capitalise on it, but would like to be realistic.

I am told secretly that Si has had one stored for the last 6 and a half years, deal breaker apparently when he sold :yes:.

Thankfully, no shite is going to be glued to it

It's going to someone as fastidious as me who's had a number of Z32s and it will be getting even more pampering. It'll continue to be maintained by Jimmer, so it couldn't be in better hands. It'll continue to be garaged and well cared for.

 

It's being collected on Thursday and my new Aston Martin is being delivered on Saturday. Strange times - I'm very emotionally attached to the Z and this decision has been a good few years in the making but it's going to a great home and the new owner will be keeping me up to date with progress. He's wanted it for a long long time.

Well I’ve Always wanted Simons 300zx, unfortunately I’ve not got it but if it comes up for sale again I’ll Be There For You and think it was a Born To Be My Baby. Theses Days the 300zx suffers from rust and it’s no Bed Of Roses keeping one, it would be easy if we lived in a Dry County but we’re all Living On A Prayer that our cars don’t suffer this. I guess that’s why some owner Runaway? Let’s hope Simon old car remains one of the best and that the new owner gives the car all the love it need or they’ll be Wanted Dead Or Alive by members of the 300zx community.

 

I hope You Never Say Goodbye Simon. You’re an asset to the 300zx community and will Alway be welcome In These Arms. You’re not Living In Sin by wanting an Aston, they’re amazing British sports cars. Who Says You Can’t Go Home? I hope you Make A Memory or two with the new car and don’t Lie To Me if you enjoy it more than the 300. Pay no attention to those saying that you’ve fallen out of love with the 300zx and that ayou Give Love A Bad Name, I’ll Be There For You! If you find you’re missing your car I’m sure many here will Give a you Something For The Pain and take you out in their car and make One Wild Night of it. You can play with mine, you’ll be Welcome To Whereever You Are.

 

Anyway Simon, this isn’t All About Lovin You. I wish the new owner would sign on here in a Blaze Of Glory. We will make them feel most welcome Because We Can.

Thread can now be closed, the new owner has just picked up the Z. Was really rather emotional! Had it for so long! Made so many friends across the globe with it and the Z scene in general. I will miss it dearly but I needed and wanted a change and it felt the right thing to do.
