Afternoon all

 

Once I get my car back there’s a few pieces I’d like to repaint/touch up. I need AJ4 Ultra Red.

 

Just wondered where’s the best place or brand for rattle can spray paint?

I've had very good results with TK3 paint supplied by these folks:

Great, thanks Andrew. Would you know how it compares to Halfords paint?

 

Looking to paint:

- Middle section of the bumper, getting rid of the factory grey (which I’m not particularly keen on)

- New front lip

- Repaint the wing mirrors

 

If there’s not much difference between Halfords and your guys in the link above, then I’ll just go with Halfords as it’s local and a little cheaper. However if there’s a noticeable difference then Im happy to pay a bit more and order from Paints4U

 

So yeah, any idea of the difference? If any :)

I can't provide you with a comparison as I haven't used HFs paints for bodywork jobs. The P4U paint comes out

of the nozzle in a thin vertical "band" and layers up beautifully. The TK3 colour match (with the clear coat) was

perfect. It just feels and looks (to me) like a high quality product and based on my experience I don't think you

will be disappointed for the jobs you have in mind.
