Gooday folks.

Looking at the FSM on ABS system and just want to confirm my thinking. It looks to be that the OEM MC is a tandem type and I he 2 lines coming off essentially are for front and rear brakes through the ABS pump and with the brake bias built into the MC.

If the MC was changed to a single output then this would require a brake bias valve to be incorporated into the lines before the ABS pump.

Sound about right?

That's correct.

In principle yes. I'm not aware of anyone who has done it though. Why are you wanting to go from the dual MC F/R system

(with built in redundancy) to a single output?

I’d guess to accommodate an adjustable bias valve

Yes partly that, partly due to liking to try things and partly due to engine bay space saving. There is a developed method in the US to use an adapter plate and Wilwood MC in place instead to delete the pedal assisted vacuum design. It will be a bit of lever and pressure over a given area theory but it's got me interested.

For a Z32 - you have a link to that?

GK tech do an adapter.

I just need to work out the rest and reviews etc. I know Chase bays do a similar design as well.

Would make for a tidier and easier to work on engine bay.

True Pete there is a machined block that has been produced for that and I learnt to cadence brake anyway so it's wasted on me.
