Hi Guys,

Just managed to lean on my passenger side windowscreen scuttle panel and snapped it clean off. Anyone got an intact one for sale. I don't mind if its faded as long as its complete as I would spray it satin black anyways to match my drivers one :).

Thanks,

Olly.

As above, don't waste your time with used scuttle panels. 99% of them are junk/brittle/cack. Once they're faded, they're usually all brittle anyway. The sun gets to them on one size and the underside gets blasted with heat from the engine bay.

Do yourself a favour and invest in a new set whilst they're still available.

Did think that but the cheapest I found was £130, anyone know anywhere cheaper ?

I'd buy a new complete one, the old one on the other side won't match the new piece. Makes the car look much cleaner with new ones.

I agree - get online to CZP and buy the full set, complete with fixing screws....

Si is dead right; I tried to salvage my original panels when I replaced them with new a couple of weeks ago. Passenger side one just crumbled when I removed it - yet apart from some fading around the vent area, it looked pretty sound!!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
