What you do when somebody talks shits about your car?

 

This guy had a race with my brother few days ago and my brother lost. He was working 1.3 Bar and my borther 0.8 bar.

Fare isn't it? They are good friends but this doesnt stop him from talking shit.

 

Anyway he came to my house on Sunday while my brother was doing a bit of work on his engine and after start talking shit i said to him lets go and race together. I am working 1bar and see how you will do.

 

He was so excited that he call up all of his friends to come and see him getting another win. :D

 

We agree to go from rolling at 2nd gear. Does he got a chance?

2nd gear 50Km: We hit it and he got the jump 1.5 cars length

3rd gear: I am right behind him. And by the end of 3rd gear i am 2 cars ahead.

4th gear: Bye bye

 

He came right next to me shaking and he didnt know what to say. After couple of minutes he wanted to have another go.

I agree. He open up his hood and take off a vacuum line. What!! 1.5 bar this time... Cool

 

2nd gear: He got the jump again. well maybe 2 cars this time.

3rd gear he misses shift. We both slow down and he sais to me "Ok lets go again at that speed". FFS ... racing me at 3rd gear. It was over before it even started.

At the end of the race I had him 8-10 cars.

 

No more shit talking hah!!

 

You know what....Some kids think that just because they are fast they believe that they are the fastest and they want to race everyone and everybody. But they learn dont they :cool:

was it a STi ?? my mates got a modded STi & I gotta say, its fcuking quick!! driven it myself - mental accelleration. grip when cornering is awsome too.

Nice idea removing the wastegate pipe........ Don't worry, treating his engine with that much respect, he won't be talkin shit for much longer ;) Nice one btw ;)

lol!! i remember when i was working at a lancia dealer, we were forever fitting bleed valves on the delta hf turbos & intergarale's. one day we had an intergarale come in for a service & my apprentice decides hes gonna wind the bleed valve out for the road test, & i mean RIGHT out!! lol! we get on the road & as soon as we get a clear run I floor it - the boost gauge shot off the scale, the car took off & there was an almighty BANG!! :eek:

 

shit! jumped out & had a look, luckily it was just an inlet pipe that had popped off!! phew!! :D

Its a WRX version 4.

 

But i dont know what the hell he has done to the car to work 1.3/1.5 bar without detonation.

they run quite high boost as standard, my mates one runs at 1.3 also.

I once knew someone with a RS turbo and his boost upgrade was a small hole drilled into the rubber hose to the actuator. Whenever he wanted to go fast he would open the bonnet and unwind the electricians tape from around the pipe to expose the hole.

 

Great result btw, makes all the troubles of z ownership seem worthwile when you kick someones ass :D
