Hi there all. Picking up my first ZX on saturday. a 300ZX Targa twin Turbo import automatic in black. As soon as I get it i am takin it down to Newquay to give it a blast. Dead excited. Just thought I would say hi. Does anyone know of any specialists down in Devon?

well, i have to agree. What a car. Took down the B roads from Newquay, up into Devon and back down to Exeter. Holds the road like glue and is comfortable. It is not modified. Going to have to get used to people staring at me. If anyone can help there is a button by the Auto box that has Power written on it? I cannot find this in the manual. Can anyone help? Also the speedo has changed to MPH but when i am doing about 60mph it is showing 120mph. Has anyone any idea how to put this right?

Clicking the "power" button allows an auto to redline in every gear whilst booting it.

 

It automatically comes on when you boot it anyway, so I've never understood why there's a button :confused:

Hello mate welcome to the world of zeds.I also have a black auto and that power button your talking about is simple if you push it down so the power light comes on the dash it allows the revs to go right to the max before it changes gear you can also just blip the throttle twice or just slam your pedal to the metal this also engages the power mode.When i first got my car it also used to show different speeds to what it was actually doin and all it was ,was someone fitted the wrong speedo converter behind the speedo so i rang Luke up from the ZED CENTRE and explained it to him and he told me the problem straight away and sent me down the bit i needed think it was about £30 so if no one on hrere can gelp give him a call good luck!!!!:D :cool:
