They must be turning in their graves now, when they look back at whats happened to what they fought for

We were at beachy head and watched the Daks fly over. It was a very powerful moment know the last time they did that, they were taking thousands of young men to fight (and die) for our freedom.

I was there, i was that lone piper over every news channel around the world. Proud and Honoured to play for the soldiers that didn't make it off the beaches and come home to loved one's.

Well done Trev that must of been a great experience.

I was able to get the boys to Hayling Island billy line on a windy afternoon to eat there dinner, watch the red arrows and explain what was going on. They loved it and Archie (who’s 4) could understand the significance of the day. Lest we forget.

I watched some highlights of the coverage whilst on hols last week... To see the veterans, all well into their '90s, talking about their experiences, really moved me. Especially the chap who was so modest, that he said he was no hero, he was lucky, as all the heroes were dead. Utterly selfless.

We owe those men and women so much, fighting for our freedom, we should never forget their endeavours.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
