Looking to buy my first 300zx - still love these cars and I've actually always wanted one. got some cash saved to purchase now.

 

I have a budget between £3k-£5k, looking for a N/A (not fussed about the power and leaning towards a N/A mainly because of the reliability, want the looks and has to be totally originally/stock with no mods)

 

I've seen this one on ebay which basically ticks all my boxes, looks good. any advice/thoughts from anyone else?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

 

I can’t tell you much about that car but what does stand out to me is that the wheels are the wrong way round. Its not a big deal but it might be a sign that, although the car has very low mileage, maybe previous owners haven’t been as fastidious as you might think.

Hi Chris, thanks for the quick response and your advice. I'm in no rush to buy so will wait until the right one pop up! Just gotta keep looking!

On the flip side as it's only just been imported it won't have any rust issues, it's probably spotless underneath. And if the 23k miles is genuine, is that even enough miles for something to go that wrong? Kinda looks like something has been leaking in it to me though, seats look odd. Strong money for an NA as well.

At that price it would need to be perfect for an N/A auto but good miles and looks good in the pictures apart from rear wheels on the wrong side. Good luck and welcome to the club:thumbup1:

I will be selling my na swb slicktop, just got a few more jobs to do on it before I list it properly but it's a lovely car, just had a respray, no rust, all the big engine work has been done cam belt etc

I offered him £4k but he said the price its listed at is the lowest and not willing to go any lower. £6k is just too much I'll have to keep searching :)

It's my car. It is pretty stock, only the wheels, exhaust, spoiler & tinted rear lights but can be easily swapped.

I'll be taking it over to PowerZ to get a service done soon then it be going up for sale. Can't stress enough how amazing this Z drives, it's like driving a brand-new car and it's not a scratch inside. I will ask Jimmy to give his opinion of how stunning this really is inside and out and how it drives, so you don't have to take my word for it . Seriously come have a look and come for a drive it will blow you away.

Im away in Ireland but will be back in the UK on Sunday. The Z is good to go now but i want to get it over to PowerZ 1st For a final inspection. It's 100% factory stock same as it came off show room floor Which is very rare these days, this is definitely one for the collector.

 

Price is £7995 ovno Also notice I'm not being greedy with the price this was priced at £10,000 when it landed.

 

This is the 2K Model version S. Big money in Japan right now!
