Hi all..

 

I have arranged a club stand at the 2019 Japanese matsuri at the museum of power in langdon, maldon.

 

We currently have a 10 car stand booked, entry for displaying vehicles and occupants is free and i am looking for owners who would like to attend and put their car on the stand.

 

The event venue has wntertainment for families so if you want to bring the family for a day out, there will be things to occupy the kids.

 

Could really do with some support for this event and stand space will be first come first served.

Should we reach the max number for the stand early enough we have the opportunity to increase stand space, so i would appreciate you guys letting me know as soon as possible if you would like to attend.

the Museum of Power is a great place to visit nice way to spend the day.

 

unfortunately i am booked that weekend with my 675 bike club and will be up north for our annual get together else i would be there.

 

i hope at least some of the local guys give it a look :)

No problem craig, i havent been very active of late as ive been so busy, so its nice to be able to put a bit of effort in to helping the club whilst i have a little spare time.

Shame you can't make it but i look forward to seeing you at the agm if not before.

We have the option to increase the stand size aswell so the more the merrier!

Any news on allowing late arrivals, Paul?

I gave them a call and they said that it wouldnt be a problem joel. As long as someone marshalls you in.

So if you want to call me when youre close by, i can meet you at the gates and clear you a path to the stand.

Well the numbers are looking good so far. Thanks for the support for this event folks.

Its gonna be nice to see a good crowd of Zs and owners at the museum!

 

Still need to confirm availability of a club banner.. if theres one available that someone can bring, itd be appreciated.

Hi guys, with the japanese matsuri in maldon being a week away, i'd like to get a solid confirmation on numbers attending.

 

Unfortunately Russ (Veilside) has had some very unfortunate luck with his gearbox so, he wont be able to make it in the Z. However will be coming to see us all at the show with ankle snappers in tow lol.

 

I am also pretty sure the paul tubero will not make it due to his car still being repaired.

 

So our list is as follows and if you could just confirm you will be attending, i would be grateful as the final stand arrangements need to be in place by midway through the week.

So far we've dropped from 13 original places to the 8 that are showing on the list.

There is a possible 9th but not confirmed as of today.

So far i have been unable to find anyone else that has one locally, so it would be great if you could bring one if you have it.

Ok, so now down to 7 cars on the stand with bones dropping out so if anyone else wants in, please do get in touch now..

 

It would be nice to see a good turn out to this event, 7 cars is good but if we can fill the 10 car stand it would be ace..

Sure has been a while, I’m desperately trying to get it done for the AGM.

What do you have left to do tony? Anything i could give you a hand with mate? If so, and i can get there mate, im happy to give you a hand.

The problem is the car is in south London at my brothers place only 15 mls from here but a minimum of an hour drive via Blackwell Tunnel.

Have the suspension to put back on, plenum, all wiring connectors, rad, pipe work and a few other bits. Next time I can get there is Thursday.

Im aiming to be there for around 9am. I believe the gates open tk the public around 10am so gives us an hour to get the stand set up etc..

So anywhere between 9 and 9:30 is perfect.

That’s really kind Paul, I have booked a B&B Thurs & Friday night, I can’t do the travelling, it’s a long way from you, I’m sure i will be ok.
