Hey guys, new here. New to the zed, but not new to modifying cars.

As the business owner of Skuzzle Motorsport ltd I've been doing some pretty epic things with mazda mx5s for years.

Anywho, I've bought a k reg tt manual to put my spin on and the brakes need an overhaul. The obvious choice is the 350z front discs, but is there a UK source for the brackets or am I going to have to make some.

Many thanks

Nick

These used to be quite popular but with the increased availability of larger calipers at affordable prices (such as Evo Brembo or the bolt on Brembo from the 350z/Skyline GTR - no brackets required), the demand for these has dwindled.

Smithy’s Place and DTA used to sell these I think but they’re no longer in business so I think you’re probably better off making them yourself if you have the means to. Jimmer used to have these made and maybe you could contact him about using the drawings for them.

Thanks :)

I'm not just searching the Internet like mad for a cheap but big modern caliper. I'll make anything fit, but I'm working to a budget. Mintex 1166 on brembo discs to suit the stock brakes is looking to be around 5 £480 plus vat for a set (through my workshop discount). I'm almost convinced for that money I could pop in a bigger brake setup.

Interestingly the 350z discs and pads are cheaper. Probably more common, but I'm struggling to find a sensible price set of calipers, and then not sure what to do with the rears.

No brackets required for 350z brembo front discs and calipers

Hi do the 300zx front brake hoses connect up to 350z brembo calipers or do you have to use different brake lines

I didn't have to change mine when I fitted them

Remember you will have to increase the size of the holes in your hub though, from memory I think it's 14mm but don't quote me on that
