April 2019 Road Tax Price Increase

Hi All

 

Has anyone managed to figure out what the price increase is on our road tax?

 

I've been trying to find a figure but all I can find is there will be an increase but depends on engine size for cars registered before March 2001

 

Only heard about it today in our office but seems vague for our cars

    I'm managing to find all sorts of figures for ours, some say £255 some are saying £265

     

    No massive difference and not going to miss £10 if it is that just curious mainly

    £267 is the rate you pay based on monthly DD. £255 is the one-off payment. AFAIK, there are no rate increases for 2018/2019 car tax for vehicles registered before 2001 although I do stand to be corrected. Possibly inline with RPI increase and nothing more.
