I received an email this morning which subject line was as follows :

 

Re: Action Required to Activate Membership for 300zx.co.uk Club Bulletin Board

 

The contents looked like the below picture :

 

 

On clicking the Display full button (please do not do this ) you will be presented with a dialogue suggesting

you to enter you password as your session has expired along with our logo and your email address.

 

***** WARNING ******

 

This is not our system, please do not be fooled and please do not enter any credentials into this form.

 

Delete this email ASAP !!!

 

Any member who received this and entered anything i suggest you change your password ASAP .

Thanks for the heads up Lee and nothing in my mail so far.

Did you do a header trace? At least see where roughly it has come from....that said hoax mails are often bounced around various servers to hide themselves...as you will know.

….I frequently get e-mails in my 300x account, purporting to be from members, but which are clearly spam or links to malicious sites.... Can't be too careful...!!
