I sold my 1996 twin turbo manual for about £2500 a few years ago, and I am looking to buy one again.

I have around £25,000 as a budget, and I know JDM cars have gone through the roof in recent years price wise so just wondering if that will go very far?

Thanks!

The American market seems to drum up the highest prices, manual TT’s with 3k miles on clock with estimates in prestige auctions of $40,000. A low mileage, oem twin turbo is a car to keep hold of for the future although speaking for myself I’ve never bought a

car as an investment, if you enjoy it and one day get your money back and more it’s a bonus.

Stumbled over this article on the ZClub site https://www.hagerty.com/articles-videos/articles/2019/03/06/1990-96-nissan-300zx-getting-hot?utm_content=sf99758733&utm_medium=spredfast&sf99758733=1

From US, it says Zeds are getting more popular and:

And the ZX’s fun-per-dollar quotient is just about as good as it gets. That’s something that never gets old.

Remember the quote from Motor Trend USA when the 300ZX was launched?

Dollar for dollar, the 300ZX is the best damn sports car in the world.

Good to see they're still saying something similar 30 years later :D
