edit issues

Why is the edit button not always available? the odd replies I have made on others post are missing the edit button once posted, so if I miss something or make a typo I cannot correct it ?

    That section used to be locked down to mods and committee.

     

    Likely an inherited permission that needs to be reset.

     

    I'll check it out tomorrow.

    Can you please check to see if you can edit now.

     

    Seems to be still no, there is no edit button still, tried adding a new post and still the same.
