Hi Guys

I have had an email from Simon Fox @ Nissan asking if we would like to be parts of a big celebration event at Japfest on 5th May 2019.

they are looking to get a large display of Z cars at the event to celebrate 50 years of the Z marque with a parade lap that hopefully will number around 250 cars.

Simon has asked if 300zx.co.uk would be interested in being involved, I'm pretty sure we are !! so for those that want a lap round Silverstone but at a leisurely pootle, (you can book track time and drive much faster if you like), this would be a great day and a chance to be part of a big event. We would also be part of a big static display too so win win all round.

I think this fits in perfectly with our anniversary plans and is a great chance to not only have a great day out but increase the exposure of the club so I for one will certainly be going.

So if you would like to attend lets get a list going.

Just had an email back, stand planning is underway so no more stand passes. I've asked the 350z boys if they cant go could we maybe get dibs on their tickets so I'll wait and see.

i tried calling them to explain the situation, but no joy there, so looks like we are stuck with the few that managed to get passes for now then.

Yep through a mixture of no parade lap and last minute tickets Joel.

Japfest in the past has not been a well attended event for us I've tried to promote it in the past. I even offered my last ticket and track time slot FOC to someone whe I could not attend and got no takers. So if this is a show people want to go to next year let me know and I will organise our own stand and start promoting it earlier.

I'm afraid you are too late for club stand tickets. You will have to buy a general admission one from the japfest website.

We will have our own stand next year and I'll give plenty of notice and updates.

Sadly my gearbox has died on me at the passenger terminal at euro tunnel!
