Insurance yet ye againo.

Firstly im 20 and the best quote i've found for my UK car is about £1160 from Budget. Surprised me they've beaten all others ive tried?!

Secondly, does just an aftermarket exhaust make any difference to a quote in your experiences as isn't it pretty much accepted they're cheaper and/or last long than a manufacturers replacement?

And thirdly, different wheels make a difference?

Cheers boyzies:cool:

Rob,

I think it depends on the company.

With Bell Direct, it cost me another 35 quid for the aftermarket exhaust. They weren't interested in what type it was, just that it wasn't OEM.

As for wheels, yes, I think this could also make a different; it's all down to "modified from standard" - just another way of them printing yet more money.

Again, the chances are this will depend on the company. Have you discussed this with Budget, or was that quote on a non-modded Z?

£1160, eh, doesn't sound as bad as some of the ridiculous quotes I've heard for someone of your age. Is that TPFT or Fully comp?

CheerZ,

John.

Thanks for the info,

that's just TPFT and the quote's for no mods.

The exhaust is already on the car so ill have to see what they say, i get the feeling they wont like it tho, especially at my age. In that case i might take it off and thus have an exhaust for sale.

The wheels are standard but i would like to upgrade them, maybe just 17's as i aint made of money.

Again i think im gunna have to forget about that though, i REALLY hate insurance companies!! unless u have a whoopsie-daisy ofcourse.

Also just thought i'd let you know that pic of your Z is superb and has to be one o the best lookin beasts around:).

Thanks Rob ... very kind.

I only wish I could claim the credit for it ... for that I need to defer to others past and present here!

I have to say, though, when I went to see her, it was love at first sight!:D

CheerZ,

John.
