I have already asked via pm a few people, thank you to them who may still help me but I feel it's also best to put this out there and you never know I might end up with a couple which is my goal.

 

So after pretty much 9 years, I'm nearly there in sorting my SRS system to factory, just need one more thing so please check your old 'clocks' you have lying around, you may of purchased the later style clocks by mistake and these are no good to you at all.

 

The part I need is from 94 clocks onwards, it's the centre airbag bulb please that twists out and is then removed with 2 x phillips screws.

 

Here is a pic, the ring spade ends are not factory but everything else is, so please check what you have, i'd be most grateful for this part.

Not similar, they're the same G-man :cool3:.

 

You did make me jump off my seat and check though, I put a 'grey'bulb in the airbag hole and nothing when ignition is turned, there must be more to it because why the two tails, so I expect these give initial bulb illumination then elsewhere on the circuit board some jiggery pokery or circuit/sensor check and the light goes out.

 

I have opened up a blown burnt bulb and there's some sort of contact board in there, so it's more involving than a simple bulb.

 

And yes those are later series clocks for anyone else viewing, appreciate that pic showing the bulb in situ.
