Why has it taken me five years to get to Jimmer?! On Monday I was up at 4am for the drive to PowerZed. The car was there for an mot & service. As soon as I pulled up he could hear something wasn't right with the engine & said it could be bearings on the cambelt pulley. Anyway, he made me a cuppa & then dropped me at the station & I started my journey home. He messaged me later with pictures of a big air leak which he had fixed. The next day he messaged me with bad news, the bearings on the top roller of the cambelt had gone & he had to change the cambelt. The idlers & tensioner shouldve been replaced by the previous 'specialist' & I do remember asking them to be changed as I didn't have any history with the engine but wasn't surprised they weren't. I got the train back down this morning to collect the Zed & it was a joy to drive it home even with 2 hours of traffic delays. The engine is running much smoother & cooler. I don't want to turn this into another Lee Dent thread but if you've ever had any engine work done by him then take my advise & get the work checked as soon as you can. I was lucky & I've got peace of mind now knowing the car has been checked & issues put right. I won't be taking my zed anywhere else now but PowerZed.

Jimmer is brilliant! I wouldn’t let anyone else near my Z.

It amazed me how quick he works. He messaged me with pictures of the cambelt issues, I gave him the go ahead & it was finished a few hours later. I thought there was no way I'd be able to collect it yesterday.

Nice one Tom,you won't go wrong now bud,not only is it nice to be as thorough as Jim but he is always there for you...I mean Christ it's Sunday 10 pm at night and that mans still talking shop with me:wacko:and yes I maybe spending a million quid with him but it's not just about the money with jimmer he genuinely does care about how your car should look feel and perform...I have so much admeration for the man....and yes I know I am 5 years behind where I should of been using other people rather than jimmer, but life is like that tom..we live and learn bud ;)
